TINY Magnesium contains magnesium oxide – and thus the highest amount of elemental magnesium of all forms of magnesium. On the basis of the TINYsphere® technologies, it is combined here with the bioenhancer quercetin. This allows the body to absorb the active ingredients up to four times more than in conventional forms. Absorption is further enhanced by the added, soy-allergen-free emulsifier sunflower lecithin, which forms liposomes in the body that enclose and transport the ingredients. We additionally ensure the stability of these synergistically acting substances with the antioxidant vitamin C, which is also known for its other health-promoting properties.[1][2]

Magnesium
Magnesium belongs to the group of minerals and is stored mainly in the bones, muscles and other soft tissues. It supports over 600 enzymes in our body and is thus involved in a multitude of biochemical reactions. Through its regulatory properties, magnesium contributes to the health and function of the nervous system, heart, muscles and even bone health. Because of its many functions, specific symptoms are not mainly due to magnesium deficiency. First possible signs can be loss of appetite, vomiting, fatigue, general weakness, but also impairment of the nervous system as well as heart health [3]. Especially people with high physical stress and women in old age benefit from a balanced magnesium supply [4],[5].

Quercetin
Quercetin is a natural flavonoid found abundantly in vegetables and fruits. It offers many health benefits, including improving heart health, eye disease, allergic disease, arthritis, reducing the risk of cancer and much more [10]. It is believed that quercetin may enhance the absorption of active ingredients by increasing the activity of transport proteins responsible for absorption in the bloodstream. Some studies have shown that combined intake with quercetin results in up to 4-fold higher bioavailability [11][12][13][14].

Sunflower lecithin
Lecithin is a mixture of different groups of substances, such as the group of phospholipids, which also includes phosphatidylcholine. They are important components of cell membranes and ensure ion transport across cell membranes, insulate nerve processes and thus contribute to the smooth transmission of nerve impulses. In addition, lecithin is the starting substance for important messenger substances in the brain and nervous system[15][16][17][18][19]. Sunflower lecithin is used in TINY Solid products to improve the absorption of active ingredients by the body.
